Flanders Field The cross depicts a field of poppies and is adorned with a small hand painted paper poppy. This remembrance cross can have any quote, verse or poem under it.  The poem and cross are set on a cream or white background. The particular verse I chose was: 'Though nothing can bring back the hour Of splendour in the grass or glory in the flower; We will grieve not, rather find Strength in what remains behind;’ This cross is dedicated to the memory of Anita's dear Mother who died in 2009, the day after Remembrance Sunday.
